At LINK Mobility, it’s our people who make the difference. Faces of LINK share their stories, how they grow, collaborate, and help businesses connect every day. From different teams and countries, each brings unique skills and passion to what we do. Together, we’re building the future of mobile communication. Come meet the people behind LINK!

Meet Hugo Pereira, Level One Technical Support

Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, Hugo Pereira moved to France in 2015 to join his girlfriend, whom he had met in his hometown. Today, he works mainly from home as part of LINK Mobility’s Level One Technical Support team in France.

For around four years, Hugo has been helping customers understand and successfully use LINK’s services. When something does not work as expected, he connects with internal teams to help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

“I try to answer our customers’ questions and guide them when needed so they can use our services correctly. When something isn’t working as expected, I contact the relevant internal teams to get it fixed as quickly as possible.”

Connecting customers and teams

Hugo starts each morning by checking his emails, support tickets, and Teams chats to understand what is new and what requires attention. He then focuses on answering customers’ questions and helping them get the best possible use from LINK’s products.

Working in technical support also gives Hugo the opportunity to collaborate with many different teams.

“To do my job, I often need to interact with other teams. This gives me the chance to speak with lots of people across the company.”

Hugo joined LINK while preparing to move from Paris to Rennes. He came across an opportunity in Level One support that seemed more technical than his previous work. Curious by nature and motivated by understanding how things work, he decided to apply.

“I had a cool interview with my current manager, and after that, everything went smoothly. I’m very happy with my choice.”

What makes Hugo want to stay and continue growing at LINK is, above all, the people.

“All the colleagues I work with are incredibly helpful and positive. LINK is a multicultural workplace where you can share experiences with people from different backgrounds.”

When asked to describe LINK Mobility in one word, Hugo’s answer reflects the way he experiences the company every day:

“Cooperation.”

Although Hugo works mainly from home, he has created a simple routine that helps him stay connected with his colleagues.

“I like to say hello to everyone before starting work.”

When he visits the Paris office, one particular place stands out.

“I like spending some time by the coffee machine. It’s like a meeting point where we can chat with colleagues.”

For Hugo, LINK’s culture is defined by people working together and supporting one another.

“LINK is a very cooperative company. We all work together and help each other complete our tasks.”

As for what his coworkers might say about him, Hugo suggests that they would probably describe him as someone who stays calm, at least until things stop going according to plan!

Beyond work

Outside of work, Hugo enjoys going to the beach, gardening, playing board games, and watching Benfica play football. He also spends a lot of time playing and travelling with his family, although he admits that they could always do with a little more travelling.

As a child, Hugo dreamed of becoming an archaeologist like Indiana Jones. If he could choose a superpower today, he would keep things simple: he would like to fly.

And if Hugo were represented by an emoji, he would choose the hang loose sign 🤙, reflecting the “aloha spirit” of love, friendship, and mutual understanding.

Hugo has also experienced his share of unexpected moments since joining LINK. His funniest, or perhaps most unusual, story involves losing a toe, which he now jokes has given him the ability to perform a “four-toe kick.”

“LINK is a very cooperative company. We all work together, and we help each other complete our tasks.”

And to finish the sentence:

Working at LINK Mobility is like… being part of a tight team!

Hugo Pereira is one of the many curious, supportive, and collaborative colleagues who make LINK Mobility what it is. Through his daily work, he helps customers navigate our services while connecting teams and contributing to a culture built on cooperation.
